Juvederm Ultra is an advanced dermal filler with a smooth consistency that is excellent to restore volume and hydration for skin elasticity and support.

It is selected to treat

fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth
under the eyes in the tear troughs
lip augmentation.

It will smooth away smile lines and wrinkles, restore contours and volume, and last up to a year. It is versatile for contouring, volumizing, and for facial wrinkles.

Juvederm Ultra Plus
Juvederm Ultra Plus is thicker, holds its shape better, offers more volume than Juvederm Ultra, and is best to erase deeper folds and wrinkles.

It is also used to treat

moderate to severe nasolabial folds (folds from the corner of the nose to corner of the mouth)
marionette lines (lines from the corners of the mouth to the jaw)
depressed areas of volume loss on the cheeks.

It lasts up to a year. Juvederm Ultra Plus can also be used for rejuvenating volume loss in top of the hands.

What is the difference between Juvederm Ultra and Ultra Plus?

Both Juvederm Ultra and Juvederm Ultra Plus are hyaluronic acid dermal fillers that are excellent choices when it comes to correcting facial volume loss and reducing the appearance of fine lines, facial wrinkles, and folds.

The main difference between the two products is the consistency of the gels. Juvederm Ultra Plus is a thicker and more stable formulation compared to Juvederm Ultra. The thickness of Juvederm Ultra Plus allows it to more effectively target mid-face volume loss, and moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles, and provide volume to thin lips. The thicker consistency of the Juvederm Ultra Plus also means that the cosmetic results last slightly longer than Juvederm Ultra. Despite these differences, both Juvederm fillers are highly effective and can both be used for facial rejuvenation.
